It's technically Sunday now so here's some celebrity faces who have caught my eye recently for whatever reason. We should probably start with Megan Fox. The more I see her and the paler her California tan gets, the more I adore her. Her style and her perfectly executed makeup just kills me everytime. Though I must say she does look a little un-natural all grunged up for this shoot for NYLON. I'm so used to seeing her in Armani couture, slit to the thigh and perfectly groomed. Then of course I found this picture of her and Robert Pattinson. Can you imagine the media explosion if they ever started seeing one another? And dear God would their babies be beautiful? I mean look at them...as much as I do occassionally try and convince myself that Robert is unattractive...it's just not true. Then again his general scruffiness may act in his favour. I do love his big unkempt hair and his beautiful guitar strumming vocals. Another beautiful brunette, newly discovered model Charlotte Lohman. Gorgeous. I've always been envious of dark haired girls with light eyes. Another dark haired, light eyed beauty: Mila Kunis. Here she is at the Emmy's recently. I loved her dress, makeup and hair. Some queens of the British media for you now: geek chic Alexa Chung & national darling Emma Watson. Alexa looks great as usual but Emma actually shocked me. She's as well put together as always but her long, great legs seemed to come out of nowhere. Stunning in new season Burberry. And because the more I see of Emma these days despite her recent educational pursuits taking her out of the spotlight the more I love her, here's an old picture of her at a Cartier International Polo Day last year. The red lips and white dress and so classy with the swept back chignon and pearls. Now for some hair envy: Isabel Lucas & Rose Byrne + Miranda Kerr & Lily Aldridge. Model time! I always seem to be saving street style photographs of my favourite models. ABK <3 + Freja Beha <3 & Lily Donaldson during fashion week in NY. OH and Irina & Freja Beha backstage with Erin Wasson at her RVCA fashion show. Looking fun and cute Then Kasia Struss strutting about in all black and Frida Gustavsson in some outfit amazingness. Snejana Onopka backstage at Alexander Wang's SS 2010 show. I loved the sideswept braids and Sneja in general. She's so gorgeous. Evelina Mambetova (from the Tim Walker shoot below) with Ranya Mordanova. Mhmm Russian baby faced love! It always shocks me just how much softer Ranya looks when not on the runway. In candid shots she just seems so much more girl next door and less edgy fashion monster. Actors last and not least. An adorable french actress named Lea Seydoux that I've never heard of but is stupidly cute in a Gemma Ward sort of way <3 Colin Farrell shot by Greg Williams. I loved him in 'Phonebooth' and 'In Bruges'. Especially 'In Bruges', after one watch it became one of my favourite films of all time. Go and check it out. I'll post the trailer below but seriously watch it. You'll laugh until you cry and then you'll cry and then you'll feel horribly uncomfortably sad and then you'll forget all about that because you'll be laughing again.
My name is Jasmin but I've always liked boys with girls' names and names that end in -ie.
I'm an insomniac. I like to stay up late to watch the sky change from blue to black to beige and blue again. I'm a critically indecisive realist whose in love with the little things. I enjoy writing lists and schedules but never stick to them. I want to learn to do a million things like speak Swedish, play guitar, skateboard, hula hoop and play poker. My mind is always turning over a million things but I am a simple girl and I never ask for much. I'm a typical nerd and I'm excited by fashion, photography, books, ideas and theories.
I could pour through books and magazines until my eyes dribbled down my face in a torrent of glitter and sequins. It's true.
I like to paint what I write, write what I think and photograph what I see.
