about time for an introduction
So this blog has been sat on the virtual shelf for a while festering away with all the rest of my good intentions but I have so many things bubbling away in my head that I need to share with people who appreciate the same materialistic, artistic, wonderfully odd things as me that I needed to pin them down and where better to do it than a blog. Here goes...

I'm Jasmin. That's me above about ten years ago when I was a little less fashionably inclined but enjoying it all the same. Now I'm not really one for pink or exaggerated collars. I enjoy
art, fashion, music, reading, writing, travelling, photography, people, seasons, ideas & theories, models, dreams, philosophy, chocolate, Sweden, twins, macabre, Venice, military things, trinkets, older men, the sky, experimental physics, emo fringes, daydreams, models, frosty nights & european accents. Expect to see most of these things mentioned or discussed on this blog. If you like them too stick around and add me to your blog roll. I'll do my best to entertain you.

My name is Jasmin but I've always liked boys with girls' names and names that end in -ie.
I'm an insomniac. I like to stay up late to watch the sky change from blue to black to beige and blue again. I'm a critically indecisive realist whose in love with the little things. I enjoy writing lists and schedules but never stick to them. I want to learn to do a million things like speak Swedish, play guitar, skateboard, hula hoop and play poker. My mind is always turning over a million things but I am a simple girl and I never ask for much. I'm a typical nerd and I'm excited by fashion, photography, books, ideas and theories.
I could pour through books and magazines until my eyes dribbled down my face in a torrent of glitter and sequins. It's true.
I like to paint what I write, write what I think and photograph what I see.
"Nothing of me is original. I am the combined effort of everybody I've ever known."
