Softer Take
A softer take on current men's fashion that caught my eye. I am a sucker for huge cardigans-they are officially called Remus cardigans to me after the one and only Remus Lupin from Harry Potter. I like fashion to remind me of other things I'm passionate about-especially a book or film character. I think most things can be translated into your wardrobe be it Remus's cardigans or Tank Girl's trapper hat with aviator goggles or Lolita'a 1950's saddle shoes and playsuits.

Sloppy mustard coloured trousers and layered knits from Japanese label Shareef's Autumn/Winter 20098 collection. Apparently the theme of the collection was chocolate. YUM. Chocolate theme + Coffee stains + Scrolls= I adore it. It's a young Remus Lupin to me with Jeremy Irons as Humbert Humbert in Lolita as well a little Ralph Fiennes in Spider thrown in and stirred around.

My name is Jasmin but I've always liked boys with girls' names and names that end in -ie.
I'm an insomniac. I like to stay up late to watch the sky change from blue to black to beige and blue again. I'm a critically indecisive realist whose in love with the little things. I enjoy writing lists and schedules but never stick to them. I want to learn to do a million things like speak Swedish, play guitar, skateboard, hula hoop and play poker. My mind is always turning over a million things but I am a simple girl and I never ask for much. I'm a typical nerd and I'm excited by fashion, photography, books, ideas and theories.
I could pour through books and magazines until my eyes dribbled down my face in a torrent of glitter and sequins. It's true.
I like to paint what I write, write what I think and photograph what I see.
