Just realised that I've not done a menswear post in awhile so here's one about the scruffy man. Where I live, especially with college just starting for some people all the boys are groomed and preened to beyond perfection. It's sort of irritating. They look like they obviously take longer to get ready than I do, like half their weight resides in their perfectly styled coifs. It's getting ridiculous. Here's some refreshment: Johnny Depp esque scruffy men. Beards, boots, smoking, bed hair,parkas and second hand goodness.

My boy has the same size feet. SCORE. I can steal all of his boots :)

These images and all the black & white one below are from a Japanese menswear label called Wizzard. The name alone would have been enough to win me over but then they added the red hair and I was sold.

Tyler Riggs for Japanese label SHELL. I really like the hair. Although it does bear a striking resemblance to a certain RPattz.


Label on the last one is Jay Nicholas K. I'm so picking up a military issue canvas backpack next time I'm in Camden.

Label is Nice Collective. The white is a nice touch.

I think these are the ASOS lookbook. The hat is great.

My favourites of the bunch. Photographed by Derek Kettela. It's like a modern day Jesus or something. The beard and the sequinned jacket together are just genius. I like the mixed stripes and textures. It's very creative and probably a little out there for most men.

I'm an insomniac. I like to stay up late to watch the sky change from blue to black to beige and blue again. I'm a critically indecisive realist whose in love with the little things.
