Wishlists & Winter Wear
Greatest apologies for forgetting to post yesterday. Here's the wishlist I would have posted had I remembered:

I think it'd be pretty safe to say that I want some wedge boots like certain celebs need to wear knickers. PRETTY DAMN BADLY. (From left to right: Atacoma wedges by Acne, Tick wedges by Jeffrey Campbell, Mini Market wedge boots, Finsk fur & wood wedges & Balenciaga Zoe Harness Boots). The final ones would be the ultimate goal but most unlikely of the lot to ever belong to me even in Sam Edelman form. BOO HOO.
And now as scheduled some much needed fashion inspiration for winter, dragged straight out of my winter wear folder. First from Iro France, a label discovered through www.knightcat.com

Simple, stylish and warm. Not generally terms you hear when describing fashion these days. I think it's the knit leggings/ "treggings" (I hate that word) which make it for me. The leopard print belt is such a perfect addition.

Mhmm knit onesies. I was watching Friends this morning and Phoebe was wearing the most amazing striped one sort of like Johnny Depp's in the beach scene in 'Sweeney Todd' and oh did I drool. Ha.

Old model favourite Valentina Zelyeava in ELLE US September 2009. Florals & heavy wool coats=winning combination. As for the powder blue matching gloves & scarf? Love it so much. Finally one of my favourite recent Vogue editorials from their reborn 'More Dash Than Cash' series. Suvi Koponen models some androgynous but quintesentially English fashion.

The manly boots, the paperbag belted trousers, the paint splattered t-shirt, the white hooded anorak under with the grey tweed blazer, the trench and shirt dress. I love everything. Even the model's two toned hair.

My name is Jasmin but I've always liked boys with girls' names and names that end in -ie.
I'm an insomniac. I like to stay up late to watch the sky change from blue to black to beige and blue again. I'm a critically indecisive realist whose in love with the little things. I enjoy writing lists and schedules but never stick to them. I want to learn to do a million things like speak Swedish, play guitar, skateboard, hula hoop and play poker. My mind is always turning over a million things but I am a simple girl and I never ask for much. I'm a typical nerd and I'm excited by fashion, photography, books, ideas and theories.
I could pour through books and magazines until my eyes dribbled down my face in a torrent of glitter and sequins. It's true.
I like to paint what I write, write what I think and photograph what I see.
