Recently I've been listening to a whole lot of Mumford & Sons, Lisa Mitchell and Florence & The Machine- just a lot of lovely, lyrical semi-Folk acoustic kind of stuff. Here are a few songs from my list of stuff that I need to download.
1. David Gray- The Fugitive
More pianos :) David Gray is and always has been awesome in too many ways to count.
2. The Pretty Reckless- Zombie
Ed Westwick's Gossip Girl co star Taylor Momsen's band. I love this song. Her voice is so raw and heavy but still feminine.
3. Ryan Adams- Desire
I downloaded so much Ryan Adams that I haven't even had time to listen to it all yet. Yeah that's a lot but I love him a whole lot too :)
4. Ingrid Michaelson- Morning Lullabies
Now beating Hayley Williams to the post of my favourite female singer ever. Amazing voice, amazing live, normal, down to earth girl <3
5. Margot & The Nuclear So and So's- Quiet As A Mouse
Introduced to me by a good friend who knew that I would love them. Listen. Great voice, wonderful lyrics-what more could I ask for?
