The author JD Salinger died today aged 91, which if you think about is a pretty good run. He wrote many books but his most famous is probably 'The Catcher In The Rue' because of the amount of sick minds, say like David Chapman who name it as inspiration for the criminal intentions but it's not all that villainous a read. it's one of my favourite books and I haven't killed anybody yet...but that's probably because my favourite character isn't Holden. My favourite character is his dead little brother Allie who wrote poetry in his baseball mitt. The book definitely left it's stamp on our generation.
